(وَلَهُ) أَيْ: الْمُصَلِّي، (أَنْ يَعْتَمِدَ بِمِرْفَقَيْهِ عَلَى فَخِذَيْهِ إنْ طَالَ) سُجُودُهُ لِيَسْتَرِيحَ؛ لِقَوْلِهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَقَدْ شَكَوْا إلَيْهِ مَشَقَّةَ السُّجُودِ عَلَيْهِمْ:«اسْتَعِينُوا بِالرُّكَبِ» رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ.
