(وَلَوْ صَامُوا) ، أَيْ: النَّاسُ (ثَمَانِيَةً وَعِشْرِينَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ رَأَوْا الْهِلَالَ) ، أَيْ: هِلَالَ شَوَّالٍ، (قَضَوْا يَوْمًا) وَاحِدًا (فَقَطْ) نَصًّا، وَاحْتَجَّ بِقَوْلِ عَلِيٍّ، وَلِبُعْدِ الْغَلَطِ بِيَوْمَيْنِ.
