(وَهُوَ) لُغَةً: الْقَصْدُ إلَى مَنْ تُعَظِّمُهُ أَوْ كَثْرَةُ الْقَصْدِ إلَيْهِ. وَشَرْعًا: (قَصْدُ مَكَّةَ وَعَرَفَةَ لِعَمَلٍ مَخْصُوصٍ فِي زَمَنٍ مَخْصُوصٍ) يَأْتِي بَيَانُهُ، (وَهُوَ أَحَدُ أَرْكَانِ الْإِسْلَامِ) وَمَبَانِيه الْمُشَارُ إلَيْهَا بِحَدِيثِ «بُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ» .
