بَابُ الْفَوَاتِ وَالْإِحْصَارِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِمَا] (الْفَوَاتُ) : مَصْدَرُ فَاتَهُ يَفُوتُهُ فَوَاتًا وَفَوْتًا، وَهُوَ: (السَّبَقُ) الَّذِي لَا يُدْرَكُ فَهُوَ أَخَصُّ مِنْ السَّبْقِ. (وَالْإِحْصَارُ) مَصْدَرُ أَحْصَرَهُ، أَيْ: حَبَسَهُ، فَهُوَ: (الْحَبْسُ) أَيْ: الْمَنْعُ
