"ولا بأس ببيع عظام الميتة وعصبها وصوفها وقرنها وشعرها ووبرها والانتفاع بذلك كله" ؛ لأنها طاهرة لا يحلها الموت؛ لعدم الحياة وقد قررناه من قبل. والفيل كالخنزير نجس العين عند محمد رحمه الله وعندهما بمنزلة السباع حتى يباع عظمه وينتفع به.
