"والوثني لا يحلف إلا بالله" لأن الكفرة بأسرهم يعتقدون الله تعالى، قال الله تعالى: ﴿وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ﴾ .
