"وهو سنة وليس بواجب" وقال مالك رحمه الله إنه واجب لقوله عليه الصلاة والسلام "من أتى البيت فليحيه بالطواف" .

ولنا أن الله تعالى أمر بالطواف والأمر المطلق لا يقتضي التكرار وقد تعين طواف الزيارة بالإجماع وفيما رواه سماه تحية وهو دليل الاستحباب
