(ولو أحيا سابق في أسفَلِه) أي: النهر الصغير (ثم) أحيا (آخرُ فوقَه، ثم) أحيا (ثالثٌ فوقَ الثاني، سقى المحيي أولًا، ثم) سقى (الثاني، ثم) سقى (الثالث) لأن المعتبر السبقُ إلى الإحياء، لا إلى أول النهر.
