(فإن استووا أقرع بينهم) لقوله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: "لو يعلم الناسُ ما في النداءِ والصفِّ الأولِ ثم لم يجدُوا ألا أن يستَهِمُوا عليه، لاستهَمُوا" متفق عليه .

وتشاح الناس في الأذان يوم القادسية، فأقرع بينهم سعد ، ولأنها تزيل الإبهام.
