(ويُسَنُّ أن يكون من أربعمائة درهم إلى خمسمائة) درهم، أي: ألّا يزيد على ذلك؛ لما روى مسلم من حديث عائشة:"أنَّ صداق النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - على أزواجه خمسمائة درهمٍ".
