(وعماد القَسْمِ الليل) لأنه يأوي فيه الإنسان إلى منزله، ويسكن إلى أهله، وينام على فراشه مع زوجته عادة، والنهار للمعاش، قال الله تعالى:{وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا. وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا}
