(إلا الحيض، فإنه يُحتسب عليه) أي: المؤلي (مدته (١) ) إذا كانت حائضًا (وقت الإيلاء، ولا يقطع) الحيضُ (مُدَّتَه إن طرأ) في أثنائها؛ لأنه لو منع لم يُمكن ضرب المدة؛ لأن الحيض في الغالب لا يخلو منه شهر، فيؤدِّي ذلك إلى إسقاط حكم الإيلاء.
