(وإن جُهِل أسبقهما) تاريخًا، بأن قال كلٌّ من البينتين: إنه أعتق فلانًا. ولم تؤرّخ، أو أرّخت إحداهما، وأُطلقت الأخرى (عَتَقَ أحدهما بقُرعة) كما لو اتَّحد تاريخُهما؛ لأنه لا مزية لأحدهما على الآخر
