(ولا يشترط لصحة الجمعة إذن الإمام) لأن عليًّا صلى بالناس وعثمان محصور، فلم ينكره أحد، وصوبه عثمان. رواه البخاري بمعناه؛ ولأنها فرض الوقت، أشبهت الظهر. قال أحمد: وقعت الفتنة بالشام تسع سنين، فكانوا يجمعون.
