(ولا يحل مس عورة من له سبع سنين فأكثر) بغير حائل (ولا النظر إليها) لأن التطهير يمكن بدون ذلك، فأشبه حال الحياة. وذكر المروذي عن أحمد:"أن عليًّا حين غسل النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - لفَّ على يدهِ خرقةً حينَ غسل فرجه".
