وإذا اشتبهت الأشهر على أسير أو مطمور أو من بمفازة ونحوهم تحرى وجوبا وصام:

(وإذا اشتبهت الأشهر على أسير أو مطمور، أو مَن بمَفَازة ونحوهم) كمَن بدار حرب (تحرَّى) أي: اجتهد في معرفة شهر رمضان (وجوبًا) لأنه أمكنه تأدية فَرضه بالاجتهاد، فلزمه كاستقبال القِبلة (وصام) الذي ظهر له أنه رمضان
