(وإذا اعتكفتِ المرأةُ استُحِبَّ لها أن تستترَ (٦) بِخباء ونحوِه) لفعل عائشة وحفصة وزينب في عهده - صلى الله عليه وسلم - (وتجعلُه في مكان لا يُصلِّي فيه الرجالُ) لأنه أبعد في التحفُّظِ لها. نقل أبو داود : يَعتَكِفنَ في المساجدِ، ويُضرَبُ لَهُنَّ فيها الخِيَمُ.
