(فإن أسر الإمام منهم) أي: ممن وقع النقض من بعضهم (قومًا، فادَّعى الأسير أنه لم ينقض) العهد (وأشكل ذلك عليه) أي: الإمام (قبل قول الأسير) لأنه لا يتوصل إلى ذلك إلا منهم.
