(وإن عَيَّن ابتداءها) أي: ابتداء العشرة أذرع مثلًا (ولم يعيِّن انتهاءها) أو بالعكس (لم يصح) البيع (نصًّا) لأنه لا يعلم إلى أين ينتهي قياس العشرة، فيؤدي إلى الجهالة.
