لامرأته: (إذا أتاك طلاقي فأنت طالق، ثم كتب إليها: إذا أتاك كتابي فأنت طالق، فأتاها الكتاب كاملًا ولم يَنْمَحِ) منه (ذكر الطلاق؛ طَلَقت ثِنتين) لأنه علَّق طلاقها بصفتين، مجيء الطلاق ومجيء كتابه، وقد اجتمعتا في مجيء الكتاب.
