(وإن قَوي) الإمام (عليهم لم يَجُزْ إقرارهم على ذلك) أي: على ما هم عليه من الخروج؛ لقوله تعالى:{فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِي تَبْغِي حَتَّى تَفِيءَ إِلَى أَمْرِ اللَّهِ} ؛ ولأنه لا يؤمن من قوة شوكتهم.
