(وَمَتَى صَدَّقَ الْوَلِيُّ) دَعْوَى شَيْءٍ مِمَّا سَبَقَ (فَلَا قَوَدَ وَلَا دِيَةَ) لِمَا تَقَدَّمَ عَنْ عُمَرَ لِاعْتِرَافِ الْخَصْمِ بِمَا يَهْدِرُ دَمَ الْقَتِيلِ.

معونة أولي النهىIbn al-Najjar

(ومتى صدق الولي) من ادعى شيئا من ذلك فيما يدعيه: (فلا قود ولا دية) " لأن الخصم اعترف بما يبيح قتله. فسقط حقه، كما لو أقر بقتله قصاصا أو في حد يوجب قتله.
