(فراكبًا) بيان للأفضل كما رواه إبراهيم بن الجراح عق الثاني، والحكاية معه مشهورة اختاره المصنف تبعا لصاحب (الهداية) واختلف النقل عق الإمام ومحمد ففي (الثانية) أنه راكبًا أفضل مطلقا وفي (الظهيرين) بعدما حكى أنه ماشية أفضل ذكر عق الثاني لكن الثابت عنه عليه الصلاة والسلام إنما هو الرمي راكبًا وكان الثاني حمله على أنه إنما ركب ليظهر فعله فيقتدي به،
