"وإن التمست زيادة لم يجبر الزوج عليها" دفعا للضرر عنه وإليه الإشارة بقوله تعالى: ﴿لا تُضَارَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلا مَوْلُودٌ لَهُ بِوَلَدِهِ﴾ أي بإلزامه لها أكثر من أجرة الأجنبية.
