(والجزَّة) بالكسر: اسم لما تهيأ للجزِّ، وبالفتح: المرة، قاله في "المطلع"، (واللقطة، الظاهرتان، والزهر الظاهر منه -وهو الذي تفتَّح- للبائع) ونحوه؛ لأنه يُجنى مع بقاء أصله، أشبه ثمر الشجر والمؤبّر
