(وولد المدبَّر يتبع أُمَّه) حرة كانت، أو أَمَة، مُدبَّرة، أو غيرها، و (لا) يتبع (أباه) لأن الولد إنما يتبع أُمّه فِي الحرية والرِّق، لكن إن قلنا: له التسري، فولده من أَمته كهو، كولد الحر من أمَته، كما فِي "المنتهى" وغيره.
