(وإن حبسه) أي: حبس السيدُ مُكاتَبه، (فعلى السيد أرفق الأمرين بالمُكاتَب؛ من إنظاره مثل تلك المدة) التي حبسه فيها (أو أجرة مثله) في تلك المدة؛ لأنه قد وجد سببهما، فكان للمُكاتَب أنفعهما.
