(وأُبيح له) - صلى الله عليه وسلم - (الوصال في الصوم) لخبر "الصحيحين": "أنَّه - صلى الله عليه وسلم - نهى عن الوصال. فقيل: إنكَ تُواصل؟ فقال: إني لست مثلكم؛ إني أُطعَمُ وأُسْقَى" أي: أُعطى قوة الطاعم والشارب.
