(وعليه) أي: على من أسلم وتحته أكثر من أربع نسوة - ولو غير مكلَّف - (النفقة) لجميعهن (إلى أن يختار) منهن أربعًا؛ لأنهن محبوسات لأجله، وهُنَّ في حكم الزوجات.
