(وإن قال) المُدَّعى عليه: (لي حسابٌ أُريد أن أنظرَ فيه، لزمه) أي: المدعي (إنظاره ثلاثًا) أي: ثلاثة أيام؛ لأنه يحتاج إلى ذلك لمعرفة قَدْر دَيْنه، أو ليعلم هل له عليه شيء أم لا، والثلاث مدَّةٌ يسيرة، ولا يُمهل أكثر منها؛ لأنه كثير.
