(وقربه) أي الصف (منه) أي الإمام (أفضل) من بعده.

وكذا قرب الصفوف بعضها من بعض (وكذا توسطه) أي الإمام للصف أفضل؛ لحديث أبي هريرة قال: قال النَّبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: "وسطوا الإمام، وسدُّوا الخللَ" رواه أبو داود .
