(ويُسنُّ الإسراع في تجهيزه) لقوله - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: "لا ينبغي لجيفةِ مسلمٍ أن تُحبس ببن ظهراني أهلهِ" رواه أبو داود ، ولأنه أصون له، وأحفظ من التغير. قال أحمد: كرامة الميت تعجيله (إن مات غير فجأة) وتُيقن موتهُ.
