(ولا يُسنُّ السَّعيُ بينهما) أي: بين الصَّفا والمَرْوة (إلا في حَجٍّ أو عُمْرة) فهو رُكن فيهما كما يأتي، فليس السعيُ كالطواف في أنه يُسنُّ كل وقت؛ لعدم ورود التطوُّع به مفردًا.
