(ويبعث العيون على العدو ممن له خبرة بالفِجاج) أي: الطرق (حتى لا يخفى عليه أمرُهم) أي: أمر أعدائه؛ لأنه - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بعَثَ الزبيرَ يومَ الأحزاب ، وحذيْفةَ بن اليَمانِ في غزاة الخندق ، ودِحْيةَ الكَلْبيَّ في أخرى .
