مسألة: يجوز نكاح حرائر أهل الكتاب، خلافا لمن منعه؛ لقوله تعالى: " وطعام الذين أوتوا الكتاب حل لكم وطعامكم حل لهم والمحصنات من المؤمنات والمحصنات من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم " ، ولأن كل جنس أكلت ذبائحهم جازت مناكحتهم كالمسلمين، عكسه المجوس.
