(ولو قال) ربُّ ثوبٍ لخياط: (إن كان الثوب يكفيني) قميصًا، أو قباء (فاقطَعْه وفصِّله، فقال) الخيَّاط: (يكفيك، ففصَّله) الخياط (ولم يكفه، ضَمِنه) أي: ضمن أرش تقطيعه؛ لأنه إنما أذنه في قطعه بشرط كفايته؛ فقطعه بدون شرطه.
