(إلا في الظِّئر) أي: آدمية؛ لقوله تعالى:{فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ} والفرق بينها وبين البهائم: أنه يحصل منها عمل من وضع الثدي في فم المرتضع ونحوه، بخلاف البهيمة؛ وللضرورة.
