[فصل في نفقة البهائم] (ويلزمه) أي: المالك (إطعامُ بهائمه ولو عَطِبَت، و) يلزمه (سقيها، حتى تنتهي إلى أول شبعها وريّها دون غايتهما) لحديث ابن عمر مرفوعًا قال: "عُذِّبت امرأةٌ في هِرَّة حبستها حتى ماتت جوعًا، لا هي أطعمتها، ولا هي أرسلتها تأكل من خَشاش الأرض" متفق عليه .
