قال في "المستوعب" وغيره: (ومن الأدب وضع الإمام نعله عن يساره) في حال صلاته إكرامًا لجهة يمينه (و) وضع (مأموم) نعله (بين يديه) أي قدامه (لئلا يؤذي غيره) .

وتقدم: يستحب تفقده عند دخول المسجد، والأولى تناوله بيساره.
