(فإن فاتتِ الصلاةُ) أي: صلاة العيد (بالزوال) بأن زالت الشمس في موضع تُصلَّى فيه، كالأمصار والقُرى قبل أن يصلُّوا؛ لِعُذْرٍ أو غيره (ضحَّى إذن) أي: عند الزوال فما بعده؛ لفوات التبعية بخروج وقت الصلاة.
