(ومتى عاد) المدبَّر (إلى سيده بوجه من الوجوه) من بيع، أو هبة، أو إرث ونحوه (عاد تدبيره) بحيث إنَّه متى مات سيده، وهو فِي ملكه عتق بشرطه بالتدبير السابق؛ لعود الصفة، كما في العتق المُعلَّق والطلاق.
